Hi Alan

I presume AltChIds.txt allows me to change say
94 BBC1 London & South East to 1
185 ITV2 to 6

altcats.txt I presume allows me to change a category name, so that its compatible with SageTV for example? The reason I ask is that I am trying to change the colours in the LiveTVGuide according to their category.
Ie Film to Move (red)
Sport to Sports (green) ????

If my assumptions are correct, could you kindly let me know what format the conversion syntax needs to be in these files?

Kind Regards

Graham

im sure there are exples somewhere,
atchids should be somwthing like this:

Code: Select all

26 carlton.com
39 animalplanet.discoveryeurope.com
40 artsworld.com
45 choice.bbc.co.uk
47 knowledge.bbc.co.uk
48 news-24.bbc.co.uk
49 parliament.bbc.co.uk
92 south-east.bbc1.bbc.co.uk
105 south-east.bbc2.bbc.co.uk
119 biography-channel.biography.com
123 british.eurosport.com
127 cinema.carlton.com
which will translate radio times ids (on the left) to the standard XMLTV ids (on the right)

altcats is similar

Code: Select all

#radio times category (not case sensitive):XML category
Film:Movie
News & Current Affairs:News
No Genre:No Genre

Documentary:Documentary
Soaps:Soaps
Drama Series:Drama Series
Children's Show:Children's Show

Sitcoms:Sitcoms
Music & Arts:Music & Arts

should be a fairly comprehensive list for sage, in both files the first line is ignored and any channel/category not present remains as the radio times one
