Digiguide issue (identified, hopefully easy fix)

Post by afly » Tue Aug 02, 2011 4:26 pm

When I import from digiguide, I only get 180 channels. In fact I have over 380 to grab.

I notice that XMLTV GUI stops at 180. At first I thought it must of be bombing out for some reason, but having played with the original DG2XML I see that the params are passed up to a certain limit (0-500 on that one). Would it be possible to either increase this limit > 400, or allow us to set it in the settings defaulted to 180 for legacy?

There's a no quibble donation for you in it if possible!

just downloaded 515 channels, if there is a group of 5 or more channels with no data in your listings then the grabber may think it has reached the end of the channels and stop downloading

Hi alan,

Quite right, I delved into the digiguide plugin code and could see that it goes until there are no more. (Far quicker and cleverer than DG2XML I note).

I upped the increment to 20 and it works great. Must of had an issue with 180-185 for some reason.

digiguide may struggle sometimes to generate 20 channels at once which is why I chose 5, but if it works for you then that's fine.
