Problem with RT Listings

I have been using XMLTV with the RadioTimes grabber for some time now to populate the EPG for my GBPVR setup. In recent days it seems to have stopped working. I get the info for some channels (e.g. BBC1, BBC2, ITV1 London) but not others (e.g. BBC1 East, ITV1 Anglia, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4)

Any ideas? Help please!

Sorry I am not very technical. Where can I find the cache directory?

No worries, found it and it has fixed my problem.

The RT website went down earlier today for a revamp, and I am now getting a 404 Error for every channel's DAT file. Is anyone else seeing this? This only started this evening, at midday it worked. Log below:

Let's hope it's temporary. Some parts are available, others giving JSP errors, but there was also a EPG link from the main page pointing to http://www.radiotimes.com/content/features/epg/ - no idea what that's all about.

Fingers crossed...

Hi Alan

If Radio Times decided to re-implemt it as a paid for service (we were speculating about that on the SageTV forums) would your grabber be easily re-coded to cope ?

Thanks

Tim

yes it would be quite easy (would probably only involve adding a username and password)

Symptoms seem to have changed. I no longer get the 404's but no listings are found. Has anybody else got it working?

The whole website is still a complete mess, I'm surprised you see any of it working. :)

You'd think they would test changes before putting them live. Jokers...
