Hi, I am trying to use the latest version of your GUI to get listings from Schedules Direct. It did not work and on their forum I posted the log from GUI.
There reply was
"That's a very old URL for the SD service... to the point of not working on the traditional SD-DD service, much less the SD-JSON service you need for the UK. You may want to poke the XMLTV-GUI folks.. they need to update their program."

So I am contacting you as they sugested.

I am based in the UK and here is a copy of my log I posted.

20:25:56 - Error calling OnShowShowSettings function of grabber NA - Schedules Direct: ...rogram Files (x86)\XMLTV GUI\scripts/na_SD/na_SD.lua:287: attempt to index local `zf' (a nil value)
20:26:33 - Web authentication, method: TIdBasicAuthentication

20:26:35 - Schedules Direct Authentication error, check your password in the grabber settings

Is there an updated version of the lua available that can get the sd-json.

Thanks

Followed the instructions on the other thread and the result was still the same. It downloads 1.33Mb data then stops with the same error.
19:48:10 - HTTP Protocol error(401) downloading "http://webservices.schedulesdirect.tmsd ... tvdService" : <html><head><title>Apache Tomcat/5.5.20 - Error report</title><style><!--H1 {font-family:Tahoma,Arial,sans-serif;color:white;background-color:#525D76;font-size:22px;} H2 {font-family:Tahoma,Arial,sans-serif;color:white;background-color:#525D76;font-size:16px;} H3 {font-family:Tahoma,Arial,sans-serif;color:white;background-color:#525D76;font-size:14px;} BODY {font-family:Tahoma,Arial,sans-serif;color:black;background-color:white;} B {font-family:Tahoma,Arial,sans-serif;color:white;background-color:#525D76;} P {font-family:Tahoma,Arial,sans-serif;background:white;color:black;font-size:12px;}A {color : black;}A.name {color : black;}HR {color : #525D76;}--></style> </head><body><h1>HTTP Status 401 - </h1><HR size="1" noshade="noshade"><p><b>type</b> Status report</p><p><b>message</b> <u></u></p><p><b>description</b> <u>This request requires HTTP authentication ().</u></p><HR size="1" noshade="noshade"><h3>Apache Tomcat/5.5.20</h3></body></html><!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">

this grabber is for the SD-DD service not for the new JSON service see viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9710

Ah I see from other link there is no grabber for Schedules Direct JSON service. Am told XMLTV will grab it when run from command line so I will have to learn how to use it or learn how to make a grabber myself but it looks very complicated.

Cannot use Digiguide because no matter how many times I try cannot get the registration email confirmation from them. It's not my spam bin.
