in that case everything is working you just need to make sure the device name is correct for the serial port

if you send "V" the vario should respond with an id string. You should be connecting at 38400, 8 bit, 1 stop bit and no parity.

enable the uk_digi_alt_digi post processor. By default, xmltv gui modifies the channel ids like this to ensure that channels from different grabbers don't conflict with each other.

you would need to write a new lua script to do this. see http://www.birtles.org.uk/xmltv/wiki/in ... ng_Scripts for some documentation. the ontv script is probably a good starting point for you

is the machine running vista or windows 7? if so check in c:\program Data\xmltv gui for a cache directory

no showshifter has been unavailable for over 4 years now and no longer works on current hardware. I also cant test my program with every possible tv program

try putting quotes rounf the first part:
"C:\Program Files\XMLTV GUI\XMLTV GUI.exe" /grab
"C:\Program Files\XMLTV GUI\XMLTV GUI.exe" /grab

remove the quotes in /"grab"
