Re: Problem with RT Listings

As this thread is a couple of years old, you likely don't have the problem discussed here...

Cache is in C:\Program Files\XMLTV GUI\cache on windows.

Re: Extra Digiguide Data

Okay, this seems to be working now, producing the results expected. Can't test it too widely, as there only seems to be a couple of shows with Eps and Parts, works so far. Would appreciate it if someone could eyeball my string.find sytax as I'm guessing... :) Edit: removed the "Part" stuff...

Re: Extra Digiguide Data

The comments did post-date the note in the thread that changes were in the latest release... There is a problem with Part numbers and the importer I use (e.g. with Digiguide "The Commander" this week had three episodes as S5.1, but with "Part 1 of 3" in the sub-title). My importe...

Re: Extra Digiguide Data

 Serves me right for not searching first. I had another problem with HTTP Protocol Errors, so searched for it (ended up fixing by just collecting 2 channels at a time). Anyway, while searching I came across a post (by Alan) saying that there was a version of xmltv_parse.lua in SVN that include...

Re: Extra Digiguide Data

Had a look at this, unfortunately I can't really make sense of it all. Read a little of the LUA manual, but really couldn't sort out where the data is after the grab, seeing its content and how to manipulate it. Duh. :? If anyone reading is able to have a go, it would be appreciated, or even a start...

Re: Extra Digiguide Data

Unfortunately DG2XML gives errors in the data (incorrect episode numbers) for me, so I need to use your grabber. I'll have a look at lib\xmltv_parse.lua as you suggest, but the last time I looked it was all Greek to me... ;)

Thanks!

Extra Digiguide Data

Hi Alan, I'm using the Digiguide Grabber, and it's working well generally. However, DG2XML gives me some extra items in the XML, i.e.: <audio> <stereo>Stereo</stereo> </audio> <video> <aspect>16:9</aspect> </video> <subtitles type = "teletext"/> <subtitles type = "onscreen"/> <ra...

Limit Downloaded Data

Hi Alan, As ever, thanks for this great tool! :D I'm now using it to download Digiguide data, and I wondered if there's some way to limit the amount of data downloaded? Some of it is months in advance, and I really only want the next two weeks. I had a search but couldn't find anything pertinent. I ...

Crud in RT Feed Again

Hi! There's a few hex 10 characters coming through in the feed which is crashing my importer. Do you know if it's possible to add to (for example) prg_dets.lua to strip these characters out? Seems like it should be possible but I have no idea where to start! Thanks for the great soft, as ever. Rick

Yeah, they are back again today, just a coincidence that they disappeared at the same time as the update. I should have had more faith! ;)

Thanks for the great software Alan. :D

Latest Version and Ep Numbers?

Hi, I installed the new version Sunday night (first version I've put on for months), and as of Monday I'm not seeing any episode numbers in my listings. The ep numbers do go missing from the feed every once in a while so it may be just a coincidence, but the website is still showing ep numbers. Not ...

There seems to be difference between versions concerning the location of the channels.lua - moved it from one folder to another and it found the channels straight away.

Now I just need to work out how to change the channels ids and program ids to the RT equivalent and combine them... ;)

Thanks, I tried setting up a channels.lua but failed! Does that mean the channel id is e.g. bbc1.xml rather than bbc1 as I was trying?

No, mine looks pretty complete up to midnight 19th.

Main problem seems to be some First Runs look like reruns, and still no episode numbers... :x
