Version 3.0.b1 of the grabber is now available, it is a beta version and is definately not complete, I have released it more as a demo for people wishing to develop grabbers than as a functional grabber for end users. you dont have to specify a config directory, if you dont it will just use the current directory (same as the gui version), the config directory is to allow people to have multiple configurations with a single install of the program

run xmltvrtc.exe instead of xmltvrt.exe, note that it doesn't currently return a status code (i will be making a relaese soon with the recent changes)

i think the default is 10000, but on a slow dialup connection (especially all the way from greece) the timeouts could be even higher, there is no disadvantage to having higher timeouts it just means that is the connection does fail it will wait longer before realising

just found that the retries parameters werent being displayed in the config screen properly (the changes were being saved though), also the connection timeouts are something different to the retries delay (i only put them in the ini file because most people wont need to change them and the grabber w...

version 3 is a complete rewrite, the main feature will be the ability to write grabbers in lua, thereby adding support for other data sources

i wasn't really intending making any major changes to v2 as it is stable and works for most people, i am mainly now concentrating on v3. the reason the number of days was added as a parameter was for gbpvr users who wanted to grab a different number of days at different times
