SageTV Plugin Problem

Post by Guest » Thu Oct 28, 2004 3:45 pm

Hi Alan - I've been using your grabber with SageTV and I've got to say that it's great :D

I've run into a problem that seems to have been caused by the change from BST to GMT, as the lack of a time offset causes problem for the importer. Is it possible to update the grabber with an option to add an offset of +0000 when we are on GMT?

Here's the thread in the SageTV forum if it's of any help...

Thanks for all the effort you've put into this so far, even without this option its still great to use!

Cheers,
SidKnee

It's confirmed.

Hi Alan.

Just like to say thanks for your Radio Times XMLTV program, its great and so easy to use.

The problem I have encountered is with SAGEtv.

I have been using GBPVR and the files import fine, however, when I use the SAGE XMLTV plugin it hangs during the import.

A sample of the logfile is below. Any ideas?

Has someone successfully imported in SAGE? If so how did you do it!

Merry Christmas

Graham

Hi Alan.

Thanks very much, I can import your XMLTV output into SageTV with no problem now.

BTW, if I enter your site from the abput box from your app, ie http://www.alanbirtles.dsl.pipex.com/xmltv/xmltv.htm, there is no forum link on the left had side of the page.

Hope you had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too :o)

Kind Regards

Graham

no that doesn't work, if you go straight to the XMLTV.htm it appears as though there is no forum. It does appear at http://www.alanbirtles.dsl.pipex.com/

Tried that, no change. I deleted the cache ie files and offline content within IE, and still the same! Bit of fun for you to play with, or is it just me ?!!
