Using AltChIds.txt

Post by kingy77 » Wed Jan 25, 2006 12:10 am

Hi,
Forgive my ignorance – im new to this xmltv stuff. Im trying to workout how to use AltChIds.txt to convert the RT channel ID to match Sky’s Channels (eg. BBC 1 from 92 to 101). I have a atlchid file ready to go, but have no idea how to use – any help is much appreciated.

is this with v2 or v3? in v2 just put the file in the program directory. in v3 you need to enable the uk_rt_alt_text processor and change its settings to point to your altchids.txt file

Alan, "ukrt_altchids_text.lua" seems to be missing from the latest version. Is it an oversight or am I missing something?

cheers
Simon
