HI,

Been doing a bit of testing here and xmltv.exe is able to grab data from RadioTimes and create an XML file, but XMLTV GUI isn't. I presume both pieces of software use the same source?

Is there anything I'm missing?

Ian.

try turning off caching in the grabber settings, there is a chance it has cached a broken set of files from earlier

just tried xmltv.exe and got no data, it also has a cache so may have cached some listings from a time when there were some. to check whether listings are available go to http://xmltv.radiotimes.com/xmltv/92.dat, if all you see is a copyright notice then there are no listings at the moment

Jings!......that explains why my XML file is missing some data, and why my EPG (Mediaportal) is an hour out for some channels only. It's a new install and the first EPG I loaded was yesterday when RT was working but I had the time offset wrong. So now with only partial data from RT I'm only getting some channels at the correct time.

Tearing my hair out.....but hopefully thats the reasons.

Thanks again for a great prog.

Ian.

Radio times down?

Post by goelectric » Mon Nov 15, 2010 10:12 am

Hi,

I am no longer getting data from http://xmltv.radiotimes.com/xmltv/....
09:11:50 - Radio Times returned a zero sized reply for channel
is this affecting everyone or have I broken something?
